Plastic bottle waste, particularly from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), is a prevalent byproduct of household activities in Indonesia. However, this waste is increasingly being repurposed through various recycling initiatives. Recycled PET (rPET) is now utilized in manufacturing new products, serving as raw material for crafts, and being processed into alternative fuels. These efforts contribute to a more sustainable approach to plastic waste management in the country.
